Any summer activity that you have your heart set on can be enjoyed right here in Jefferson. Cool off while swimming at Lake o’ the Pines. Boat down the Big Cypress Bayou and into Caddo Lake. Hike any of our wonderful State Parks or kayak down any waterway that you find. When you need a break from the sun, enjoy the tasting room at any of the wonderful local wineries or shop the fine boutiques and antique stores.

07/05/13 – 07/16/13 – Historic Jefferson Railway 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks - The Historic Jefferson Railway will offer a special July 4th weekend with a celebration of flags along the Big Cypress Bayou as the history of Independence Day unfolds in the narrated day tours.
