Christmas in Jefferson is a step back in time to a scene from a Norman Rockwell painting…a simpler holiday. A time before shopping malls and long lines at the cashier. A time before heavy traffic and crowded stores. Christmas in Jefferson is a trip back to a place where horse drawn carriages glide through quiet streets and neighbors stop and say hi as they make their way through their holiday season.
There is no place more magical then Jefferson at Christmas. The town sparkles and glitters with Christmas spirit from every window and every door. The Victorian homes are adorned with Christmas greenery and the Historic Riverfront District glows from the Christmas lights in the storefront windows.
